The Circus Exploratory Adventure Program! Summer 2018

Come one, come all (kids!) to The Circus School of Atlanta’s, Exploratory Adventure Program, for Summer 2018!

Circus professionals are here to train kids in a variety of circus arts.

Explorers ages 6-14, will learn how to juggling, ascend from the ground into aerial arts (such as the silks or Lyra), they will learn acrobatics, tumbling and stage craft from circus professionals.

Explorers have a choice of four sessions:

The BIG TOP Experience (Session A & B) –

Learn the basics of circus! Explorer will engage in a variety of circus arts and present a show at the end of their session.
Times: 10 am – 3:30 pm., Monday to Friday.
Cost per participant: $650.

Session A: June 11, 2018 – June 22, 2018 – explore Showcase, June 22nd.

The Aerial Experience (Session A & B) –

Take to the skies! This camp will focus on the aerial arts, including aerial silks, trapeze, lyra and rope.
Times: 10 am – 3:30 pm., Monday to Friday.
Cost per participant: $340.

Session A: July 9, 2018 – Friday, 13 July 2018. Camper Showcase, July 13th.

Camp FAQ

When can I drop off my child?2018-02-10T18:18:39+00:00

Drop-off for campers starts 1/2 hour before the camp is scheduled to start.

Example : If the camp is set to start at 10 AM, drop off starts at 9:30 AM

Remember to wear clothing with no metal parts, such as zippers or clasps, which can damage the fabric.
You’ll also need to remove all jewelry and any exposed piercings.
Skin tight clothing is ideal, but not required.
Having your armpits covered is also recommended.

** Please note that you may go upside down if you ware a loose shirt it may fall over your face exposing your torso, and creating a potential hazard for you. This is why we recommend well fitting clothing.

** Shoes are not permitted on our tumble pads or mats.

Meals will not be provided during camp.
We however do encourage you to send your camper in with a lunch and some snacks.

** Please the safety of other students who may have allergies do not include peanut butter or peanut related products.
** Please do not include items such as pudding, chewing gum, or other items that may create a sticky mess.
** Note that we do not let students exchange or give food or snacks to each other.

Is there before and after care for my child?2018-02-10T18:21:18+00:00

At this time we do not offer before or after care for students.

We ask you to arrive 30 to 15 minutes before the end of the session to pick up your child.

We do understand however that life happens, our staff is generally on hand for up to 45 minutes after the end of the camp session.

If you feel you will be later than 30 minutes from the ending time of the session, please contact us ahead of time or arrange additional pickup options.

Can my child explore one day of the camp?2018-02-10T18:24:54+00:00

Yes, the first day of any Session is our open exploratory day.

The rate to try it out for the first day of a session is $60. If you decide you like the program and would like to sign up for the rest of the semester, this tried out first day session fee will be applied to the remaining balance.

Our circus camp is best suited for campers the age of a mature 6 through 14.
We can work with campers the age of five however some of their involvement with different activities may be limited.
